Getting to know the GLO – Taylor Wurtz

Wurtz is averaging a team-high 15.9 points, 4.1 rebounds, 2.9 assists and 1.6 steals per game.

You probably know Taylor Wurtz was a two-time all-state honoree at Ripon (Wis.) High School who went on to garner All-Big Ten recognition during a stellar collegiate career at University of Wisconsin between 2010-14 before playing professionally in Europe, including France and Sweden.

Wurtz scored a season-high 24 points during her debut with GLO on June 1.

You may also know Wurtz scored 1,367 points during her collegiate career at Wisconsin, where she ranks among the Badgers’ all-time top 10 in rebounds (793), made 3-pointers (206) and double-doubles (17). But did you know Wurtz’s favorite basketball player ever is Pete Maravich?
